AI or Human?

Can you spot what an AI made and what a human made?

Step 1 of 3

What you'll learn in this level

  • How AI-made content often gives itself away
  • Why those clues keep getting weaker
  • Why asking beats guessing

Play the detective game

AI can now write text, paint pictures and make music. Some of it looks convincingly real - but there are often small clues that give away who was behind it.

You'll see eight samples. Guess for each one: human or AI? Then we'll show you the tell-tale sign you could have spotted.

How it works

  1. Look closely

Watch the details: hands, text inside the image, odd transitions.

  2. Listen to the tone

Does it sound smooth and general, or quirky and specific?

  3. Check for specifics

Does it name checkable details, or stay vague?

  4. Trace the source

Who made it, and where was it first published?

Guess first, then experiment

Eight samples, human or AI each time. How many do you reckon you'll get right?

Important: this isn't about getting all eight right. Some are deliberately tricky - the learning happens in the reveal.
